Cuando se agrega verbo en gerundio (-ing), nos referimos a acciones que ocurren en el momento en que se habla; ejp: I am writing a letter now =
yo estoy escribiendo una carta ahora
Veamos otros ejemplos:
they are listening to music = ellos están escuchando música
we are reading a mail now = estamos leyendo un mail ahora
I am eating a good sandwich = estoy comiendo un buen sandwich
she is drinking a glass of milk = ella está bebiendo un vaso de leche
it is raining in that city = está lloviendo en esa ciudad
John is speaking english = John está hablando Inglés
mother is preparing a cake = mamá está preparando una torta
the teacher is explaining the homework = el profesor está explicando la tarea
the boys are playing tennis = los niños están jugando tenis
No olvides, que para convertir a pregunta, debes invertir el sujeto con el verbo "to be". Por tanto, la pregunta quedará : are you playing tenis ?
En cambio, para la negación debes agregar la partícula "not" después del verbo "to be". Por tanto, la negación quedará : you are not playing tenis
